More Es Paradis parties

The name translates as 'Paradise on Earth' and it's certainly at the jiggy end when it comes to decor. A spectacularly opulent venue, it's full of over the top columns and arches and topped by a glass pyramid.

Built in 1975 by Pepe Aguirre, the second club on the island after Pacha, Es Paradis originally attracted people to the sleepy fishing village of Sant Antoni, but is mainly frequented these days by a predominantly British clubbing crowd.

You won't get anything else like this back home. As the sun rises, casting its first rays over the early morning clubbers, framed by marble pillars and white flowing walkways, you’ll be glad you paid the entrance fee.

Don't miss the Water Party on Saturdays when the whole club becomes a giant swimming pool and fountains jet out of the dancefloor. Bring a waterproof camera!
